SUMMARY MINUTES OF WORKSHOP DINNER MEETING

At 5:45 p.m., the meeting was called to order by Mayor Scully.

After a welcome by the Mayor, Councilmembers and members of the Council of Neighborhoods (CON) enjoyed dinner together. Mayor Scully gave an overview of City accomplishments in 2022 and introduced new City Manager, Bristol Ellington.

 

Mr. Ellington shared information about his career and interests and expressed his thanks to CON members for their commitment to their neighborhoods and the community.

 

Dan Dale, CON Chair, thanked CON members for their persistence during the last three years of COVID, and urged guests to discuss the questions on the tables about building community.

 

For the remainder of the evening, Councilmembers and CON members discussed the most valuable lessons learned over the last few years about connecting with community, and how the City and its neighborhoods can become an even more welcoming place for residents to call home.

 

At 6:45 p.m., the meeting was adjourned.
