This is an opportunity for the public to address the Council on any subject which is not of a quasi-judicial nature or specifically scheduled for today’s agenda (see items below). The public may comment for up to two minutes. However, Item 5 will be limited to a maximum period of twenty minutes. A maximum of three persons will be permitted to speak to each side of any one topic. The public may also comment for two minutes on action items after the staff report has been presented. In all cases, speakers are asked to come to the front of the room to have your comments recorded. Please state clearly your name and address.

8. ACTION ITEMS: PUBLIC HEARINGS

Public hearings are held to receive public comment on important matters before the Council. Please sign up if you wish to speak. After being recognized by the Deputy Mayor, approach the podium and provide your name and address. Individuals may speak for three minutes, or five minutes when presenting the official position of a recognized organization.

(a) A public hearing to consider citizens comments regarding a revised application for open space current use tax assessment under the King County Public Benefit Rating System (PBRS) for the Pym property, located between 20th Ave. NW and 17th Ave. NW

(a) Ordinance No. 238 adopting a unified development Code; and adopting a new Title 20, repealing Ordinance No. 230 Section 1, repealing SMC Chapters 16.25 and 16.30, and repealing SMC Title 18

(b) Motion to authorize the City Manager to execute a design services contract not to exceed $2,374,266 with CH2Mhill for Phase 3, Part 2 for the base mapping, preliminary engineering and environmental review for the Aurora Avenue Corridor Project

(c) Motion to approve the new contract for police services and to authorize the City Manager to sign the agreement and to approve minor wording changes that may occur in its final review and execution
