This is an opportunity for the public to address the Council on any subject which is not of a quasi-judicial nature or specifically scheduled for today’s agenda (see items below). The public may comment for up to two minutes. However, Item 5 will be limited to a maximum period of twenty minutes. A maximum of three persons will be permitted to speak to each side of any one topic. The public may also comment for two minutes on action items after the staff report has been presented. In all cases, speakers are asked to come to the front of the room to have your comments recorded. Please state clearly your name and city of residence.

Public hearings are held to receive public comment on important matters before the Council. Please sign up if you wish to speak. After being recognized by the Deputy Mayor, approach the podium and provide your name and address. Individuals may speak for three minutes, or five minutes when presenting the official position of a recognized organization. The public hearing will begin at 8:00 p.m.
