This is an opportunity for the public to address the Council on any subject which is not of a quasi-judicial nature. The public may comment for up to three minutes. However, Item 5 will be limited to a maximum period of thirty minutes. A maximum of three persons will be permitted to speak to each side of any one topic. In all cases, speakers are asked to come to the front of the room to have your comments recorded. Please state clearly your name and city of residence.

(b) Approval of expenses and payroll as of July 3, 2003 in the amount of $1,297,842.25

(c) Resolution No. 209 ratifying five amendments to the King County Countywide Planning Policies

(d) Motion to authorize the City Manager to execute a contract with Berryman and Henigar, Inc. for $500,000 and change orders up to $75,000 to complete the update of the Comprehensive Plan and development of the Transportation and Surface Water Master Plans in coordination with the update of the Parks, Recreation, and Open Space Plan

(e) Ordinance No. 330 amending Ordinance No. 281 to allow additional design options and phasing to be considered in the design and construction of measures mitigating impacts resulting from improvements to the North City Business District

(f) Motion to authorize the City Manager to execute a professional services agreement with Onsite PC Care in the amount not to exceed $158,080 to provide help desk and network operation services under the direction of Information Technology Division Staff through December, 2004

Public hearings are held to receive public comment on important matters before the Council. Please sign up if you wish to speak. 9. ACTION ITEMS: OTHER ORDINANCES, RESOLUTIONS AND MOTIONS

(a) (Motion postponed from June 9, 2003) Ordinance No. 326 amending the Land Use and Transportation Elements of the Comprehensive Plan; and amending Ordinance No. 178 for the purpose of defining the future right-of-way needs for Aurora Avenue North in the Central Shoreline Area (172nd Street to 192nd Street)
